SoftStiff

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Features

Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Glassing

Tri-Ax Lamination

Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

Woodcore

Super Ultra Light Core

Our lightest core features an 80/20 blend of Paulownia and poplar for the ultimate in featherweight response.

Base

Nano Speed S

The fastest base money can buy, produced using race-grade ISOSPORT 7000 P-tex.

Sidewalls

Flex Walls

Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.

Inserts

24 Inserts

A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and true carbon layups. We instead them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Tech

D.R.S.T. SuperTubes

Dual Radial Super Tubes, similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges.

Shape

Powder Hull

An advanced evolution of the traditional swallow tail design, the Powder Hull creates a “snow exhaust” effect that amplifies all the benefits of a classic swallow tail. This innovative feature adds more power and drive to the tail area of the board, boosting control and speed in deep snow. Additionally, it enhances overall floatation, allowing you to glide effortlessly through powder with improved stability and performance.

Topsheet

Step Down Rails Top 3D

This topsheet 3D effect features a slight taper of the deck along the top of the sidewall. This reduces the top-profile, saving weight and adding more precision to your carves.

Improved

This thing rips....I wanted to give 4.5 out of 5...Bataleon don't rest!...Had 21-22 (white with orange outline) now have 24-25 model. Holds a great edge. Tail feels stiffer but pop feels about the same. I kinda miss the older style tail slapping slush up in the air like annoying skiers...haha. Torsional flex is sick...dialed...This new re-design rides well with a bit better shock absorption. Please improve the longitudinal flex and dampening. Maybe increase the swallow cutout some more or decrease the "hull" length. Overall a great ride.

The name says it all

I rode this on a 35cm blue bird powder day and I can't say enough good things about it. Floated through pow and charged through chunder like nothing. Turns were very flowey and the board wanted to land perfectly off of every side hit and jump I took. Groomers she's pretty stable and rips down no problem. Very happy with this board and I'm sure the new gen is just as good if not better

First day out on it. She goes hard. Great board in deep pow, choppy tracks and groomers

Surfs up

Beautifully constructed board. Looking forward to getting some days out on it. It’s going to be a great season

Great board but but laking damping + week build

Ugh, so disappointed with the new Bataleon Surfer. 😩 The build quality just isn't there anymore. Remember when their boards used to be indestructible? Feels like they really dropped the ball on durability this time. Such a bummer because this board really rips, but I have some concerns about how it'll hold up over time. The performance is there, but the build quality feels a little questionable. Hoping to see some improvements in future versions! Overall, it's a fun ride, just not sure about the longevity. Fingers crossed for some more robust construction down the line!
