Softer snowboards are easier to press and won't kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Shape

Nose Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most affected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile than others.

Camber Profile

Medium Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...

Features

Technology Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping 3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Glassing Glassing

Tri-Ax Lamination

Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

Woodcore Woodcore

Ultra Light Core

A 70/30 Paulownia and poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.

Base Base

Ultra Glide S

A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. Packing more molecules into the P-tex means it’s super tough and hauls ass.

Sidewalls Sidewalls

Flex Walls

Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.

Layup & Laminate Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and true carbon layups. We've used them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Tech Tech

D.S.T. SuperTubes

Dual Super Tubes, a Super Tube on either side of the board enhances pop and gives the camber more snap.

Tech Tech

Impact Plates

Strategically placed underfoot, these plates distribute pressure from heavy landings and high-impact situations, protecting your board from damage and reinforcing the inserts. Whether you’re hitting big jumps or tackling rough terrain, Impact Plates ensure your snowboard remains responsive and resilient, providing a smoother ride and extending the life of your gear.

Inserts Inserts

24 Inserts

A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.

Turbo 161W

First of all i kindly could choose a new board as a replacement for another one. I chose the turbo but was unsure if i like a 9 flex. Now i have to say its the best board i have had so far. I learned a stiff board doesnt mean you cant press or butter anymore, it just means you have to do it properly. As a bonus the increase in pop and stability at higher speeds is immense. I also find the design very elegant in real life.
The board aswell a the customer support are phenomenal, so i have just good feelings towards Bataleon :)

WOW

This is my first time back on a Bataleon since 2008 when I owned a Goliath and I'll say this, I've owned many boards over the years but I've never ridden a board like this. Yes it's stiff, but you're still able to press it somehow. I bought the 167W
This board wants to run and it wants to run FAST. Charging hard is definitely where this board excels. Riding this board I was no longer getting pushed around by the chopped up left overs of a powder day, instead, I was cutting and pushing straight through it.
Be careful though, if you let your guard down and start riding it like a Sunday driver... it will try to buck you. On groomers it wants to lock in and carve, and if you match this boards energy it will perform wonderfully
For an all mountain board on a groomer or powder day, this thing excelled far beyond what I expected. This board demands respect, if you keep that in mind your going to have an incredible time riding it.

The board grabs and has a lot of pop and flexes very well for being a stiff board

Christmas Morning Dream

Our son is a huge snowboarder and was beyond excited to unwrap this board on Christmas morning! He has used it non-stop since he got it and absolutely loves it! Thanks, Bataleon!

Great board for off piste drops , park and SPEED

I have a stallion and a Surfer, but due to my weight dropping in is not possible on those boards, big rock drops nope, trying to beat skiers nope haha!
so I bought the turbo, you really need to work on this board IF yo go slow, if you re shredding fast this board is incredibly fast in movements, I have Burton stepons and it goes perfect, backcountry powder no problem!
it is the most stiff board I've ever ridden on !

Charger of a snowboard that rides exactly how you'd expect it to

Aggressive camber and pretty damn stiff, but still fun to throw around at speed. It took a while to get used to this snowboard, but it's awesome for what it's designed for.

It's definitely not a daily driver for me (I've got an evil twin + for this), as it needs a lot of speed and strength to perform well. But at medium to high speeds, it's rock steady. The overall shape is still freestyle-focused, so it spins nicely and feels light when doing so.

The nose is softer than the tail, making butters and flatland tricks easier on that side. The tail, though - you have to work for it! But that extra stiffness gives it solid drive at the end of turns, which helps with carving and general charging around.

So far, I’ve mostly used this board for backcountry and off-piste runs, where I want something playful yet stable on bumpy terrain and landings, without too much flex underneath.

I imagine it would kill in the halfpipe or off the big kicker lines too.

Great board - just needs speed and strong movements to perform at its best.
