Softer snowboards are easier to press and won't kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Shape

Outline Shape

Nose Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most affected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Medium

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile than others.

Camber Profile

Medium Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ & Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Features

Technology Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping 3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Woodcore Woodcore

Flex Tail

This tech features a strategically placed strip of urethane embedded in the wood core, allowing the tail to flex torsionally in a unique way. This design mimics the dynamics of a swallow tail, offering enhanced maneuverability and control, but with a more freestyle-oriented tail shape. Perfect for riders seeking a balance between playful flexibility and precise performance, Flex Tail delivers a responsive, surf-like feel that elevates your ride in any terrain.

Glassing Glassing

Tri-Ax Lamination

Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

Woodcore Woodcore

Ultra Light Core

A 70/30 Paulownia and poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.

Base Base

Ultra Glide S

A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. Packing more molecules into the P-tex means it’s super tough and hauls ass.

Sidewalls Sidewalls

Flex Walls

Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.

Inserts Inserts

24 Inserts

A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.

Layup & Laminate Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and true carbon layups. We've used them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Tech Tech

D.R.S.T. SuperTubes

Dual Radial Super Tubes, similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges.

Topsheet Topsheet

Step Down Rails Top 3D

This topsheet 3D effect features a slight taper of the deck along the top of the sidewall. This reduces the top-profile, saving weight and adding more precision to your carves.

One of the best!!!!!

Went from the Bataleon Camel Two ‘20/’21, leveled up to the ‘24, and now I’m ripping the brand new Cameleon ‘25/’26 — and damn, these decks are straight fire 🤙🏽

From carving smooth groomers to floating deep in pow and charging backcountry lines, I’ve bounced around a bunch of brands over the years, but Bataleon just keeps pulling me back in. Their boards are all legit, but this one? Easily one of my all-time faves.

Been taking this thing out at Sun Peaks and Whistler in every kind of condition you can think of, and it just handles. Edge-to-edge feels locked, super stable at speed, and the ride is just buttery clean.

I’ve been shredding for 25+ years and I still like to charge hard; this is my go-to stick, no question. Grab one and you’ll be hooked… no looking back.

Stay stoked and happy shreddin’ 🏂🔥

Perfection!

So impressed with the Cameleon.
I've had many snowboards over the years but I just had to try this board out in the hope it would be as good as what people say it is in the powder. As I love riding powder, more than anything.
I was lucky to get a good few days of pow in Andorra in March 2026 and I was so impressed how much easier it was and my back leg didn't getting tired at all, it was a dream.
When it came to carving it was creating lines powerfully and quickly swapped from edge to edge so fluidly and then boosting off the smallest bump to epic air and then landing switch to buttering to the bottom of the hill. Oh yeah! It takes it all and magnifies it to give you the best time. I love it!

First ride knife in butter

Thick powder base run in Stowe. Nose stays up, can easily carve toe to heel side through it , with no burying of the board. Quick turning capability. Ice it carved pretty well. Def bites where other boards would have you wipe. Comfortable and nimble.

Great board

I’ve got the first version of Bataleon Cameleon in the 161. I’m 183 cm and 84 kg, and I’ve ridden it in pretty much every condition. It carves really well, feels quick edge to edge, and is great for buttering with loads of pop. Overall, it’s a very playful board. It also holds better on ice than you’d expect, as long as you commit and really lean into the edge so the sidecut can properly bite.

In January 2026, I took it to Hokkaido and brought a Capita Navigator 164 as a backup. In deep powder, I honestly had more fun on the Cameleon. It’s quicker edge to edge, much more nimble in the trees, and the 3D nose gave me more confidence in deeper snow. I kind of secretly wished I could find a new board that could top this but ever since it came out, I'm sticking with the Cameleon.

Couldn't resist

Went to our local snowboard shop for the new Acid boots but came out with an extra snowboard. I couldn't resist to the fantasy of riding this beauty on a nice powder day in our upcoming holidays.

After trying them indoor I can only comfirm that this is a perfect snowboard for resort and even park.

The Cameleon is Super Fun in All Terrain!

I really like my Cameleon (157cm). It is playful and pretty powerful. This board was a warranty replacement for a nearly new Goliath 158w (topsheet cracked). After a full season on this board (40+ days), both at the area and in the backcountry (Union approach skis setup), I plan to ride it as my main board for another season. The board excels in the powder and has been a lot of fun in the park too. It gets bounced around a bit in choppy snow, but is a good all around board. If high speed carving is your thing, this may not be the best board for you. If you like to have one board that does everything pretty well, this is the one. It is relatively light and compared to most of my recent boards (Lib Tech, Never Summer) it is not as burly of a build, but has held up to a full season of hard riding. Overall, this board makes snowboarding more fun! I prefer rocker-camber to camber, but the 3D makes camber work better IMO. Fyi - somewhat hard charging old man who has been snowboarding since 1983 (155 lbs, 5'8", size 9.5 feet)...

Great All Mountain Board

Bought this board late season and managed to get in a couple powder days before the season ended. I was really pleased with how well this carves on the groomers and it felt less touchy on long cat tracks because of the 3BT nose. It’s super fun and surfy in powder. This is my first Bataleon deck and they’ve definitely made me a believer.

This thing is a straight up all-terrain RIPPER!!!

I love this board!!! I've rode it in everything from beautiful perfect groomers (lays trenches!!) 3 foot deep pow (flows like a surfboard) spring slush (Slash HAPPY!!! and BUTTERY snappy!) The board is thin light and has a fair amount of flex but I never experienced any chatter. You can straight drop that moguled blow at the end of a pow day and trust that the board won't fold. Landings on this baby are beautiful also they flet softer the bigger I went. LOVE LOVE LOVE THE CAMELEON!!!!

Legit shapeshifter

This board is something every snowboard should strive to be... it can become almost anything you want it to be due to its versatile ride. It rides so smooth, switch is effortless and somehow feels very twinish when doing freestyle, shittts on powder, board has amazing drive when you lock the knee and push from the tail, carves very good which is surprising for how soft the board is.

The flex on this board is for sure softer than a 6, its honestly close to my evil twin. The design of this board is something else though. Where the carbon is put in the board, it really helps keep the board stable in specific areas yet the board is so playful, tbh all bataleon boards are very freestyle oriented but duuuuude this board feels crazy.

bataleon... idk how you did it. Youve managed to make a board that encapsulates freestyle and freeride so perfectly. The biggest difference between this and a symmetrical twin, this handles pow and backcountry like a champ.

If you're looking for a stiff board try something else like the beyond medals but if you want a good medium flex board that makes everything fun, buy this.

something i was not expecting at all

Second board from bataleon, bought it because of beautiful graphics (not gonna lie), an eye catcher during line up time. Rode it on pow and groomers, turning was smooth, deep carve no problem, even did some switch on it and just worked perfectly.

Great carver and very lightweight and snappy

This is my third Bataleon. In the past I rode Magic Carpet and Party Wave plus. I have just spent a week with it in the Alps riding groomers to hard packed icy pistes with dusting of snow. I didn't get to ride powder yet. I am `83cm and 83kg boot size UK11 so I got the 161. No toe drag to start width. Very light, felt lighter than party wave + and also much more flexible. It carved extremely well even in icy conditions. Amazing edge hold. It's very snappy so you can boost off of anything, easy to load up. It carves surprisingly well switch too. I rode the reference stance and felt great. super stable at high speeds. I read reviews about nose not gripping due to it's shape and soft flex. I disagree. It just rips. turn. I took it to a medium sized hip in the park where landing was tracked and icy and didn't have any issues. It was just a super fun board to ride around the resort. Edge to edge was super quick too.

One of the Best

First Bataleon board, I was kind of nervous about how the 3BT would hold in icy conditions ,, let’s just say this things rips.,I would say it’s more of all mountain board than a pow board, take this thing anywhere and it will rip🏂

I immediately feel my riding is more fluid and stylish on this board!
The shorter side cut on a setback shape combined with the flex tail make for some wild surfy turns.
I'm really enjoying the sure footedness on steep and technical lines. The top sheet graphic is super fun and eye catching.
The high nose rocker and 3BT w/sidekick have me plowing through chunder and chatter like it was fresh POW.
No noticeable difference in switch riding.
