I’ve been snowboarding for about 30 years, but this is definitely the best binding I’ve been riding! It perfectly matches my riding style. It’s super responsive but still super comfortable. With my past bindings I always needed to fasten the ankle straps uncomfortably tight to get the response, while the Astro is super responsive even with a more loose strap. The canted footpad feels good for knees and the dampening is ways better than my previous bindings. The asymwrap makes the binding nice and surfy without loosing the responsive character. You can easily charge narrow turns in steep terrain as well as surf down an easy slope. Awesome!

I recently got a set of the Astro bindings, and I have loved them! They form to the boot really well, and feel amazing paired with the whatever board.

No idea what the Karen was saying about colour not being accurate, colour is very accurate to the pictures. This binding is very comfortable, and the straps are excellent for giving a comfortable locked in position. If that idiot found there to be pressure points or the binding uncomfortable, then they bought the wrong size, or have the wrong size boots on.

I find them to but a bit more responsive and a bit better at absorbing energy then the Union Force Classics which are also great.

Only thing I have noticed is the ratchets can be tough to undo, but they get smoother as you use them. They strap up really easy and stay locked in.

Overall a great Binding, performs great in powder and on groomers. I have ridden them on the Nitro Alternator and Lib Tech TRS in the Rockies and out in Austria.

Color not as depicted. Super uncomfortable. Cause pressure points from the footbed. Customer service impossible to get in touch with. Will not buy Bataleon in the future.
