The Party Wave is everyone’s favorite fun board. Decades of experience with 3D shapes have enabled us to shift volume from length to width without sacrificing edge-to-edge performance.. It’s designed to be ridden 5-10 cm shorter than your regular deck. It’s a nimble and floaty pocket rocket that dials up the fun all over the mountain.

Pow

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

Flex

4.0

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Float Ratio

85

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

Outline Shape

Directional

On our more freeride orientated boards the center base is at its most narrow and the uplift is at its highest this creates unparalleled float in pow super fast edge-to-edge transitioning.

Nose Sidebase Uplift

High

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile then others.

Camber Profile

Low Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ + Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Glassing

Bi-Ax
Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore

Pop
Core

Our classic reliable full poplar woodcore.

Base

Hyper
Glide S

Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Sidewalls

Solid Walls
Sidewall

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

NOTE: If you are at the upper end of the boot size range, you might consider a wide board to hit the sweet spot for deep carving and float in pow.

Fun Board for everything

great for park too! for a person with big feet the best board for me so far

It does everything

This is arguably my new fav board. For how wide it is, it really doesn't have any drawbacks. I'm 6ft, 225lbs and even on the 157cm - it's still very versatile, despite being such a wide board. It did take a couple days to get used to but regardless, it's so good at everything. Deep pow is a dream and I still confidently take it into the park and hit jumps with it. Don't let the shape fool you either, it rides switch perfectly. I can do switch 1s and 3s on it.

I suggest it 100% if you're thinking about it. Now I'm thinking about the whatever for next season 🔥

Awesome board for any kind of riding

I love the party wave for riding on my own, and it’s great for teaching snowboarding too. It is a directional board but riding switch feels the almost the exact same as riding regular. Very nice taper on it and great side cuts for those chest to the snow carves. Over all, it’s a wicked snowboard!!

Perfect board!!!

This board can do whatever I put it through. Floating on pow, carving groomers, ripping through trees, lacing park and natural jumps, greasing rails and buttering and pressing every chance I get. The flex allows super high presses. The width gives you nice stable carves and a locked in feeling on rails. The lift on the edges of the nose let you butter catch free, I’ve tested it. I opted for a 148cm. I’m about 150lbs with size 10 boots. The short length let’s me rotate super quick and helps in tight trees. It’s a Jibby pow board that you can take all over the mountain. I’ve hit steep blue groomers, back bowl black and double blacks, open mellow and steep tight trees, deep moguls, small and large park features and jumps. Every part of the mountain gets a lot more fun except for super hard chunky chunder. But just hold up the nose and tail press it all atleast that’s what I do. I ride every single day for work and this deck definitely makes it a lot more fun

Amazing board

I bought the PW for powder days but I ended up ripping this board everyday. I'm 1'70m, 70kg and I went for the 148. I thought It wouldn't be as stable as my all-mountain main board at higher speeds but I'm absolutely impressed on how it performs. You can't go wrong with the PW.
Also Bataleon has the best customer service and the shipping was pretty fast!
