SoftStiff

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Shape

Outline Shape

Nose Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile than others.

Camber Profile

Low Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ & Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Features

Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Glassing

Bi-Ax Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore

Light Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Base

Hyper Glide S

Our standard sintruded base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Sidewalls

Flex Walls

Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.

Inserts

24 Inserts

A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Tech

C.S.T. SuperTubes

Central Super Tube, a single Super Tube down the middle of the board enhances pop without stiffening the board torsionally. Great for jibbing.

Top Laminate

Aramid X-Ply

Exclusively featured in our Plus Series, Aramid X-Ply provides full perimeter 3D reinforcement, delivering exceptional torsional stability and improved damping capabilities. This advanced material ensures your board remains resilient and responsive, even in the most demanding conditions. With Aramid X-Ply, experience enhanced control, reduced vibration, and a smoother ride, making it the perfect choice for riders seeking peak performance

Perfect board for park, freestyle, and all mountain riders 🏔️ 🏂

I got this board back in 2020 and had to get another because of how much I love it. I’m a snowboarding instructor with a passions for freestyle and park riding. This board meets all my needs,. I absolutely love it flexibility and and playfulness. Don’t even get me started on the 3BT, since I started riding this brand I haven’t caught an edge in years.
I do recommend a wide board for those with a shoe size of 11.5 or bigger, I found myself having a lot of toe and heel drag and heavy high edge turns with a regular width.
Have fun out there and stay safe! 🤘🏻

Disaster for life! 🔥🤙🏻

I’m 6’’1” and weight 165 lbs. Shoe size 11.5.
I have been riding bataleon for 4 years now, and I will never go back to Burton. The 3BT is truly ground breaking and innovative. Couldn’t tell you the last time I caught an edge. My last board was a 2021 Disaster and I this was the best all around mountain board and absolutely killer in the park for rails and butters. I did get a bit of toe and heal drag when laying down heavy turns so I decided to upgrade the the 2025 disaster + 156W. I can not wait to take it out this season. 🏂

Bataleon Disaster 👾

The Bataleon Disaster Snowboard is my absolute favorite for park riding. Due to its soft flex and playful feel it is incredibly fun for jibbing and gives confidence to hit new features. This board is forgiving, making it great for me to play around . I've had some of my most memorable sessions on this board—it just encourages you to push your limits. Despite its focus on freestyle, it also handles surprisingly well on general runs and it feels great to race down your ski homies. Shred on!
