SoftStiff

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Features

Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Glassing

Bi-Ax Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore

Light Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Base

Hyper Glide S

Our standard sintruded base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Sidewalls

Shock Walls

This is our Urethane infused sidewall technology. ShockWalls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to impact.

Tech

C.S.T. SuperTubes

Central Super Tube, a single Super Tube down the middle of the board enhances pop without stiffening the board torsionally. Great for jibbing.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Perfect for park and butters

Love the raised edges that help for butters as to not catch an edge. Very popy board that is good on jumps and rails.

Great for flat ground and chill park laps

This board is super fun for flat ground tricks like butters and presses. It is easy to flex and has a massive sweet spot for presses, and feels very stable on rails. It also feels super light. If I could only have one board to do everything, it would not be my first choice, but it is a great playful addition to the quiver. If you're looking at the wide, be advised that this one is real wide, almost a centimeter bigger at the waist than my Public and Academy wides, which took a little getting used to.

My 14 year old says....

In response to a buddy of his on Instagram when asked about how he likes his Bataleon board his response was "best decision of my riding career. You should get 1"

Luke_snowbord absolutely has fallen in love with the Bataleon boards. He is into his third board and he rides them in the park, races snowboard cross, and competes in USASA competitions. The boards get used daily and he punishes them. The durability is really good, but better yet the customer service when some damage happened was top notch.

Thank you Bataleon for honoring your products and walking us through the purchase and shipping of a replacement board.

Keep on following Luke! He is doing some great things.

Disaster is a must!

I’ve tried a couple of boards but this one is awesome! Smooth and flexible! Great for begginers - intermediate snowboarders! Happy with the purchase

Exactly what I wanted.

Usually ride directional twins on the stiffer side. Wanted a true twin on the flexy side to adventure into the butter and jib worlds. Usually ride 163w (I’m 6’3 200 lbs) and got a 156w. The low camber is poppy but forgiving. And despite it being super flexy, holds a sharp edge and still cruises at speed. Different at first but once I got used to it it’s INCREDIBLE. Totally recommend it !
