Park

Resort

Pow

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

Flex

3.0

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Float Ratio

59

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

Outline Shape

Twin

Boards that are shaped for the park are designed with maximum center base width and minimal side base uplift. Creating a stable landing platform with confidence boosting forgiveness and next level agility. Think about your tricks not about your edges.

Nose Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. most effected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making opur boards more versatile then others.

Camber Profile

Low Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ + Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Glassing

Bi-Ax
Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore

Light
Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Special Sauce

C.S.T.
Super Tubes

Central Super Tube, a single Super Tube down the middle of the board enhances pop without stiffening the board torsionally. Great for jibbing.

Base

Hyper
Glide S

Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Sidewalls

Shock Walls
Sidewall

This is our Urethane infused sidewall technology. ShockWalls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to impact.

Layup & Laminate

Carbon
Stringers

Our tried and tested carbon layups. We deploy them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Featuring

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

Featuring

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Featuring

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

I have now become a butter god!

Been riding for 5 years and always had a larger size board so I decided it was time to get a smaller, more flexy board. Love the way this thing handles and it makes butters soooooo easy. The soft flex and the contoured edges make it super fun to hit some nice butters while still being able to handle speed alright!! 148 (5’7” 130lbs)

Major park progression on this board!

This was my first Bataleon after riding other brands and once i got on it I was thinking... wow this is wayyyyyy easier! I'm 5'7 160lbs and went smaller with a 151 which worked great for me since I wanted this to progress on tricks. I'd probably suggest a size up looking back. It is effortless from edge to edge and did not catch at all unless I obviously was on the wrong edge. Its super flexy which helped me learn all types of butter tricks. Its super forgiving if you land sideways on your jumps so you don't crash and burn automatically but simply ride out with ease. Its magic for learning small park moves on small jumps. It works surprisingly good on groomers and i can still lay it down for some euro's.

Cons- its not ideal for the bigger jumps because you need more speed and it will give you a lot more chatter due to the low flex. For bigger jumps i'd suggest an evil twin or goliath for the xl jumps. This board is super fun to ollie load up and hit the side banks. Not made for POW over 6 inches since it gets a lot of chatter but thats not what its made for. If your an intermediate/advanced park rider then I'd go with the evil twin . If you want major park progression as a park newbie /intermediate with tons of forgiveness then I'd look no further.

Great board for your quiver!

Side Kick Tech

Excellent decks. Their Side Kick tech is what has kept me coming back. This gives you just enough lift at your contact points to ride loose, have fun and not be worried about catching an edge when you are practicing flat 3s or 5s, pulling a tripod or any other butter tricks on the flats, yards before the lift.
