Softer snowboards are easier to press and won't kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Shape

Outline Shape

Nose Sidebase Uplift

High

The gradual side base uplift in the nose determines how the board will behave on snow. Most affected are the edge to edge performance and the uplift generated when riding powder.

Tail Sidebase Uplift

Low

The gradual side base uplift in the tail determines how the board will behave on snow. Any amount of uplift brings all the benefits of Triple Base Technology making our boards more versatile than others.

Camber Profile

Medium Camber

Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. Higher is not always better...

3D Shape

3BT™ & Sidekick™

Combining the responsiveness of traditional tip-to-tail camber with the dynamic shaping properties of Triple Base Technology and the performance boosting Sidekick feature makes for a 3D snowboarding experience like no other.

Features

Technology Technology

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping 3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Construction

Glassing Glassing

Tri-Ax Lamination

Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

Woodcore Woodcore

Ultra Light Core

A 70/30 Paulownia and poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.

Base Base

Ultra Glide S

A premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for our high-end models. Packing more molecules into the P-tex means it’s super tough and hauls ass.

Sidewalls Sidewalls

Flex Walls

Our Urethane Poured Sidewalls offer exceptional shock absorption, reducing chatter and vibration for a smoother, more stable ride. Flexwalls provide flexibility and resilience, allowing the board to maintain its integrity even in extreme conditions. With superior impact resistance, they ensure your snowboard performs at its peak, season after season.

Inserts Inserts

24 Inserts

A-grade German stainless steel inserts make sure you are locked to your board. These high quality inserts can take years of binding stance switches.

Layup & Laminate Layup & Laminate

Carbon Stringers

Our tried and true carbon layups. We've used them in different areas to fine-tune the feel of each model.

Tech Tech

D.R.S.T. SuperTubes

Dual Radial Super Tubes, similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges.

Color is different than pictured, but still looks good.

I was a little surprised on the color difference, but it’s still a good looking board. It’s a darker bluish / purple rather than the lighter purple that’s pictured.

Rode the Party Wave 157 this past year and loved it, so I can’t wait to get out on this one next season.

Lotta Fun

It's a BOAT but it rips. Very forgiving in the catwalks and floats in softer snow.

Jacob

It rips but isn’t the best on hard pack and icy conditions but soft cruisers or smashing powder this is it!

Love it! (Cruiser 159)

My first Bataleon board and experience with 3BT. Rode a Lib Tech Dynamo before the Cruiser. That board felt dead in comparance (in my opinion anyway). The Cruiser rips! A really fun and playful board to ride, and it is beautiful to look at!
One remark though, I bought the 2024 version (white and red). The guys at Angry Snowboards on YT stated that this version is crap and that it probably was due to the fact that the manufacture process moved to China.

I interpret their review that the 2023 and 2025 are really good, but you should at all cost stay away from the 2024 version. I don't now anything about that. Like I said, I really love my Cruiser from 2024! But it kind of makes me wonder how the 2025 version feels like....

Rides like a dream

Took the cruiser out on most of my days to leisurely plow through hills. It just absolutely ate everything in my way. The side kick technology also made cat tracks less spooky and more chill.

Cruiser

Review for Cruiser 156. My first experience with TBT. Super fun and chill board but it can go pretty quick. Riding on groomers feels floaty and silky smooth but in control. Definitely doesn't ride as wide as the waist width would suggest.

This board shreds

Don't listen to any negative reviews about this board or Bataleon warranty. I did extensive research about boards. Being a Florida boy I grew up on water not snow. This board made my transition flawless. I went from learning to snowboard to doing black diamonds the next season! This board is insane. It shreds any condition other than pure ice. It's super light and rises to the challenge. I had to make a warranty claim after spotting some micro spider cracks in the top layer. I was so sad. You could barely feel them under your nails. After inquiring they made things right fast. Kara is the warranty rep and she is incredible. She is timely with everything. She makes the stressful situation seemlessly peaceful. If you’re reading this, stop second guessing, grab your sack of cash and anticipate this next snow. I am so stoked with Bateleon I bought a partywave too. See you on the slopes sucka! Have a blessed year.

Meh… better options

My first non twin, and probably my last. While it’s made for powder, I found no benefit to the set back stance and dumb long nose. My twin bataleons perform better just about everywhere, with no set back. The set back is too far back as well, so you really have no tail to pop off of or to take landings. It’s also too skinny at the waist width, which is really why bataleon shines. If you’re going directional, you’ll have a much better experience in every terrain on a party wave. But even then, I’d rather ride the twin. The extra width makes it far better in the pow, and much more stable and maneuverable in the pow and at high speeds on piste.

True all mountain board

This was the first non true twin board I’ve ridden and it blew me away. It was fast and responsive on groomers and an absolute dream in the powder. The 3D design, especially in the nose made the powder feel effortless.

Awesome for Growth

I got the Cruiser to work on my carving skills and it has been so enjoyable to ride. It really grabs that edge and makes you feel comfortable in trusting the board to do its job.

I tried making a split board by splitting it!

3bt

Love my Bataleon Cruiser. The 3bt makes it such a fun board! Perfect for pow, slush or just cruising.

Great board but not an every day rider

Pros:
floaty, fast and fun. Great edge to edge transitions. Definitely a board to use on powder days or when riding solo.

Cons:
The 3BT makes the board less grabby on edge. I was unable to balance on edge to wait for my friends, I had to sit down to avoid side slipping down the hill because I couldn't stop or hold my place.
Reading the other reviews before purchasing I thought this board was made in Austria and I was a little disappointed that it had a made in China sticker

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

So far this board has really been a great fit for me . Coming from a 157 fun.kink I wanted something a bit stiffer with the ability to take it out on deep days ! Ripping it around with the kid carving and slashing the whole mountain was super fun and this thing slays deep pow!

Really approachable carver!

So I picked this one to learn how to carve. 186cm height, 159cm board with Blaster bindings.
This is board transitions very well, it has enough pop for you to jump on the other edge while making a turn.
Is super stable on higher speeds but tends to drop the edge a little bit on the back foot which may be a problem on some black lanes but other than that carving with this board was a really pleasant experience.
Not to mention it was like that throught the entire day, even when the lanes got a little mouldy - it cuts straight through this kind of stuff. Only ice can proof a problem.
Bottom line, highly recommend for beginner carvers and other cruising enjoyers!

P.S. it goes on flat parts of the lane super smooth too!

Austrian Made Quality - Performance - Design

Bought this board in 164cm, for aggressive pow riding in BC Canada. It floats through champagne, nose stays up and board is responsive. Great Austrian-made board for little more than made in china stuff that you’ll want to replace.

What's in a name?

It's called The Cruiser, and wow, does this thing cruise! I've had the pleasure to cruise this board down the steep & deep where it refuses to sink, on fresh natural corduroy, flying past my friends with 3BT-confidence and night cruising re-frozen chunder that the long nose eats right up. I personally wouldn't spend the day in the park with it, but it has enough rigidity in the tail that you could take a lap and not suffer. The only reason it's not an outright quiver killer, is because it's my first Bataleon and now I want them allllll.

y
yamaguti syuuji
very good!!

I used it before Whatever AndI bought a cruzer this time, but I like it because it is easy to handle and the powder is an all-round that can go cancerous! I think the design is also lovely.

Fun ride. A quick freestyle board with a powder nose. Best of both worlds. Freestyle powder.

Cruiser, the board that lives up to its name

Are you lookin for a board that shreds trees and pow with minimal effort ? Don’t shred the park often, but still want something that can tackle the whole mountain ? Then look no further, this board is exactly the right fit !

In the pow, this board is so floaty! It rises to the top with ease, and heel to toe connections are effortless. The Cruiser is super playful in the trees, and on corduroy it’s insanely fast.

The Cruiser is a perfect all mountain board, and I’m super excited to have added it to my quiver this season 🤙🏽 give it a ride ! You won’t regret it.

Cream colour, not white

Based on the images I matched this with white bindings. The board arrived and it is very definitely cream coloured and the white bindings will not go, so just a heads up that the colour as pictured is not accurate. Can't wait to ride it though.
