The Cruiser is a new shape for the 22/23 season. It’s super stable at high speeds, yet playful and fun for all mountain cruising or a lap through the park. It can be ridden in traditional lengths or slightly longer because of its long nose compared to the effective edge. We designed this board with freestyle carving in mind so hit the resort and get weird.

Pow

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

Flex

5.0

110

SoftStiff

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Glassing

Bi-Ax Lamination

A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.

Woodcore

Light Core

50/50 Paulownia and poplar creates a balanced core that’s lively yet strong.

Base

Hyper Glide S

Our standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.

Sidewalls

Shock Walls

This is our Urethane infused sidewall technology. ShockWalls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to impact.

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Great board but not an every day rider

Pros:
floaty, fast and fun. Great edge to edge transitions. Definitely a board to use on powder days or when riding solo.

Cons:
The 3BT makes the board less grabby on edge. I was unable to balance on edge to wait for my friends, I had to sit down to avoid side slipping down the hill because I couldn't stop or hold my place.
Reading the other reviews before purchasing I thought this board was made in Austria and I was a little disappointed that it had a made in China sticker

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

So far this board has really been a great fit for me . Coming from a 157 fun.kink I wanted something a bit stiffer with the ability to take it out on deep days ! Ripping it around with the kid carving and slashing the whole mountain was super fun and this thing slays deep pow!

Really approachable carver!

So I picked this one to learn how to carve. 186cm height, 159cm board with Blaster bindings.
This is board transitions very well, it has enough pop for you to jump on the other edge while making a turn.
Is super stable on higher speeds but tends to drop the edge a little bit on the back foot which may be a problem on some black lanes but other than that carving with this board was a really pleasant experience.
Not to mention it was like that throught the entire day, even when the lanes got a little mouldy - it cuts straight through this kind of stuff. Only ice can proof a problem.
Bottom line, highly recommend for beginner carvers and other cruising enjoyers!

P.S. it goes on flat parts of the lane super smooth too!

What's in a name?

It's called The Cruiser, and wow, does this thing cruise! I've had the pleasure to cruise this board down the steep & deep where it refuses to sink, on fresh natural corduroy, flying past my friends with 3BT-confidence and night cruising re-frozen chunder that the long nose eats right up. I personally wouldn't spend the day in the park with it, but it has enough rigidity in the tail that you could take a lap and not suffer. The only reason it's not an outright quiver killer, is because it's my first Bataleon and now I want them allllll.
