Thanks to the 3D shaping, it can afford to be a little wider than your typical carve board, adding some useful float, while the narrow centerbase accelerates edge transitions and keeps drag to a minimum.

At the heart of every Bataleon is a combination of 3BT™ and positive camber. It’s an innovative solution to the profile puzzle that minimizes the potential for edge-catch without sacrificing ollie power or carving performance. From this starting point, we fine-tune each element according to the boards desired riding style.

3D shaping

SideKick™ builds on the concept of Triple Base by increasing the sidebase uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. The tips become more like a hull, boosting float in deep snow and slicing through crud. It also helps the board to roll quickly and evenly from edge to edge.

Construction

Supertubes™ are hollow carbon cylinders that are inserted directly into the core. They reinforce the camber, reduce weight and greatly increase pop. By varying their location we can fine-tune the board’s performance further.

Our three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern on our more aggressive boards.

Fantastic quality!!!

My battalion Carver is a screamer of a carving board. It wants to go fast and turn hard.. It holds a great edge and the 3BT allows you to get from edge to edge quicker.. even as wide as it is it is super nimble. This board is not for the faint of heart and you need to know that it is going to be aggressive in all honesty nothing against the board, but it’s a little too aggressive for me.. but as far as quality goes, I’ve been snowboarding for 27 years. Started when I was 10 years old., and as far of the quality of construction of this board, it is solid, well built and utilizes excellent materials. If you want to go fast and leave trenches, this is it right here but if you want to be more laid-back, I would suggest going for the party wave.

The carver was just the board I was looking for, makes groomer days so much more fun now that I don’t hit the park. Stiff but good torsional flex. Aggressive but forgiving. Surprised how hard it is to catch an edge even in funky snow.

Bataleon Carver DELIVERS!

Blowing doors on the competition with design and customer service, Bataleon does it again w the Carver.
Laying down big surfing bottom turns and Euro carves are what give me the some of the most joy in life and its almost too easy on this sled.
The 3D Triple Base Technology is new to me and I was anxious about how it might affect speed and performance. All I noticed was more speed and never once catching and edge.
Plus the board looks clean and SICK.
Absolutely could not be happier with my purchase and the package came lickity split ta boot!
So so so stoked!

So underrated

This board is by far the best board I ever had. I rode this board on powdays, groomers, spring slush conditions and it just crushes everything on its path. It will never hold you back and will just keep pushing you to your next limit! Unlimited eurocarves with this thing!

This board is aweful.

This board carves very poorly. Also Bataleon will send it to you with dull edges. Try and find one single video on the internet of someone carving this well and having a good time. It doesn't exist because it doesn't happen.
