I rode the Disaster for the season, and it has quickly become one of my favorite boards. The flex is spot on while still feeling stable and confidence-inspiring when cruising.
What has impressed me most is how versatile this board is. Despite its freestyle-focused design, it handles a wide range of snow conditions exceptionally well. Whether I’m riding groomers, softer snow, or variable conditions, the board remains responsive, and fun.
The Disaster makes every run enjoyable. Easy to manoeuvre, encourages creativity, and has enough pop to keep things exciting in the park. If you’re looking for a board that excels at freestyle riding but is also a fantastic all-around cruiser, this is it.
Short and large, so good in powder and slush, but stiff enough toncarve properly on groomer

I purchased my first Bataleon Board for the 2026 season. I got the disaster+ 154 and love the board. Great board and very versatile, Has great flex and is very responsive and the sidekick makes the board very playful and forgiving. Only downside is it’s a little tricky on icey areas when I first started riding it, the sidekick makes it a little tricky to dig your edge in. Other than that it’s a great all around board. Customer service is great and respond super quick and sent me a bunch of free stickers (which deserves infinity stars). I also purchased Bataleon’s Blaster Pro AsymWrap FASE bindings and love them. A lot stiffer than my previous bindings, so I was still getting used to that before the season ended but loved them. Great quality, Light, really feel secure. All around Bataleon’s gear is super awesomeness in my opinion, would definitely buy more of their gear in the future. I warrantied the toe strap on oneof my bindings already due to a small crack in the webbing. Didn’t cause any issues and just seemed more cosmetic than anything Their warranty department was so great. No hassle, responded very quickly and had 2 new toe straps within 5 days. And have to say again that the free stickers were the icing on the cake for me (and not just one sticker, they sent 8 stickers for completely free). Bataleon, you are the best!!!

Purchased a Goliath 2years ago, taken it to Italy, Canada and Japan. These boards are the best feeling ever, I now just want more. Compared to my old boards, Bataleon have got it right, they just feel so good in whatever conditions, such a good feelong when going heel to toe, seriously recommend!
I bought Evil twin for my first board as it label for intermediate to advance rider but still forgive enough to a beginner like me . Its good progression board that i'm sure i don't need other board for a while
These boards are great. Awesome shapes. Also the 3BT does take a little to get used to. But youll never hang up on rails. Also great boards to teach on also very forgiving for all riders. My suggestion is 3bt with magna traction like edge could be a cool new design.
La planche est très plaisante à rider par contre la robustesse de la planche laisse à désirer... Une saison seulement et déjà délaminé.. Je n'ai jamais expérimenté une chose pareille avec mes anciennes planches.
Always have great discounts online even during peak season, and have elite customer service: my board arrived slightly damaged, and they were quick to respond, and sent me a new board no questions asked after they saw the damage. Won’t buy from anyone else other than bataleon 🫡
I got my first very own snowboard and chose the Bataleon Thunderstorm. Rode it for the first time in the French alps and I really liked it. It has a different feel to it coming from a traditional camber but the sufyness and speed is amazing. So easy to get in and out of turns and to catch an edge you have to get it sideways literally. I recommend this to anyone who wants to get a fast and nimble board for all mountain riding.
Love this Goliath board it has truly improved my snowboarding skills and I feel way more comfortable on this board then my last 'never summer' board.

Wij hebben ondertussen al zo’n tien jaar Bataleon boards in de diverse soorten en maten.
Mijn vrouw is van de Distortia naar de Storm gegaan en heeft nu de Thunderstorm en is daar erg blij mee.
Zelf heb ik aardig gewisseld met boards in soorten en maten omdat het leuk en leerzaam is en je op den duur precies weet wat je voorkeur is en wat wat doet en van invloed is op je rijden.
Hierbij moet je denken aan de diverse Goliath’s , Boss, Thunder en Thunderstorm’s en een enkele Camel Two ,Surfer, Beyond Medals Goliath en Beyond Medals…
En momenteel de Goliath 156.
In die jaren is de 3bt shape steeds wat verbeterd en de versie van de afgelopen jaren is een stuk subtieler geworden welke ons erg goed bevalt.
De service van Bataleon is ook erg goed net als de garantie afhandeling.
Helaas had is afgelopen voorjaar dat bij het waxen van een nieuw board op een plekje de base iets los kwam.
Waar de winkel het qua service het liet afweten, maakte Bataleon het meer dan goed en wisselde het board zo om voor het zelfde board van het laatste modeljaar.
Blijf vooral zo doorgaan!
I used this board intensively fir 2 seasons and its incredibly fun on the slope for butters and also jibbing was a lot of fun. The chipping on the topside is a known small issue with Bataleon but thats fine. Now for jibbing its really fun but the rails are really not made for this. They broke on 2 spots and i will put the funking to rest.
But for that price good value!
I tried the thunderstorm at demo days at Brighton this board was my favorite and had to buy it. Hands down amazing!!

Why the flex was smooth fast and the flat spot was strange to allow myself to not be on edge to track straight so really I kinda had to learn how to ride again. Feel flex edge to edge by the end the day was like harmony we bonded and it was magical moment together on the mountain my twin was evil at first. Than it turned to the good side. Yes. Was catch free butters tricks spins speed went beyond next level. And I was like wow okay now I get it. I can see why these boards are so awesome. Than finished out the season happy so if you are looking and you are on the fence give it a try. U might fall in love like I did. And level up your riding oh I did get a few fresh pow days. That nose floats and cuts a line you only dream about so take my word ive ridden all brands and by far. BATALEON MAGIC Carpet Snowboard and evil twin take the cake. Got the board 2 seasons ago and have ridden it for a bit over 3 weeks (don’t live anywhere near a skiresort). Held up amazing, only problems I had were with icy conditions, otherwise great! Plus I always get lots of compliments on the look of the board
Its my first proper board nad what can i say. Its just as stiff as i need it, its super light, it has some great speed and pop nad just in general its a very good and relaible all around board that can do suprisingly a lot. i ma very happy with it.
I love my Bataleon! When I was learning that was my first ever board! When it came to buying my own I knew I had to get Bataleon! I have a twin and it’s so easy to ride! I’m a new rider and this was a fun board to learn on! If you are just getting into it, Bataleon is the way to go!
I have a Bataleon Whatever, it is super funny buth in the park and in the pow, however the only problem is that it is not durable at all, every little stone, branch, literally everything will leave a mark. At the end of the day it’s not a big deal, but since I am doing more and more backcountry snowboarding my table at this point looks completely damaged.
