This board absolutely RIPS! I'm 6'1", 170 lb. advanced/expert level rider and the party wave+ makes all my dreams come true. I went with the 154 cm. Amazing float in pow and super fun to lay out some Euro carves on groomers. Excellent addition to any quiver. Plus, this board is aesthetically beautiful. Would 10/10 recommend!
I Rode a Warpig for Over 2 years. Went to this board cause it was a 28 waist and I have size 14 feet and the Warpig was a 27. This is the best board I've ever ridden. Carving side to side feels like a dream. Almost like your rolling side to side. Manuals on this is a dream. Never catch your edge on this LOL I ride this through all conditions and works great!
Tons of pop, caught me off guard on first jump. Carves really well and has good acceleration/speed. Normally ride a 162WJones Flagship and this is a perfect compliment for something with a bit of a different feel that you can still ride pretty aggressively. 154 was out of stock so went with a 157 @200lbs/11boots. 154 might have been better in trees but 157 doesn't feel like too much board. Also ignore the negative reviews, calling out The Good Ride who said it's an edgeless disk that took them 3 days to figure out technology. More like 1/2 run, no learning curve. Thanks Bataleon, keep em coming!
All around fantastic deck. Just does it’s job and that’s that. Just be cautious on sizing.
Ive been snowboarding for over 25 years and this may be my favorite board yet. I am 5'11 and 195lbs, and my last board was an arbor 164. I had concerns that the width would make carving difficult on groomers or packed pow give the nose profile - but it's just the opposite. Turn initiation is a simple weight shift forward and the mid-arc edge control is incredibly stable. I was able to layout forearm to snow toe-side turns on my first run. This board is super quick edge to edge. Heel-side took a bit more effort - I kinda wish I'd gone for the 154 instead of the 157, but it was sold out. Still - phenomenal board!
