Global Warmer Ltd.

$529.95

Heat up the park

The Global Warmer was the first of its kind; a high end jib board with top of the line ingredients packed into a soft yet stable package. It can be ridden in the jib line or on the big kickers, making it one of the most functional jib boards on the market.

This is a super limited run of our fan-favorite GW. Only 50 were made world-wide.

Features

Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.

SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

SuperTubes™ are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core in 3 different configurations. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

Materials & Construction

Our traditional and time tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive; keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness.

Our lightest 80-20 Swiss paulownia and poplar wood blend for the lightest strength to weight ratio.

Central Super Tube. Hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

The type and placement of fiberglass greatly influences a board’s flex and riding characteristics. Boards are built with a layer of fiberglass above and below the woodcore.

Not a basic extruded base. It has the highest molecular content available for an extruded base. That means it’s super slick, durable and maintenance-free.

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

We use tried and trusted ABS sidewalls for most of the collection. For the best flex to strength ratio.

Producing two or more base color options minimizes p-tex waste. That is why you will find flip flop base options on most of our die-cut bases. This means orders can be filled with either color option which makes environmental sense.

Finally a wide board that’s actually wide

I got the 153w & wear a size 12. The boards super playful. Extremely soft. I say that again extremely soft. you’ll be doing nose & tail presses even if it’s your first day on a board. Definitely a rail board, it can make over jumps, but you’ll feel it’s slow pop off the lip. It feels like ghost ollies on bigger jumps. I’d recommend this for the hiking jib kids & street shredders.

Global warmer has destroyed the mountain, so far my favourite stick. Made for the whole mountain but especially for park and jib features. I’m more comfortable hitting bigger rails with the board and it has a good amount of control.

Confidence boost on the rails

My Fun.kink got wrecked (base was peeling off on the contact point on the heel edge back foot), so I splurged and got the Ltd GW 154 (I'm 6ft, 182 lbs). Took one run to get used to this board - very little camber - I'd say the board is almost completely flat, and it's a little softer than the Funk.kink. Got into the park and felt an instant boost of confidence on rails. I hit three jib features I've never hit before including a down rail I'd been scared to try in the past. The base really locks into the rails and you feel stable. Love, love this board. Bataleon 4 life.
