      Ride lightning

Based on the award winning women’s Storm, the all new Thunder is a men’s directional freeride board built to handle it all. Strap this beast under your feet and get ready to ride lighting.

        Characteristics

        Flex

        6
        Soft
        Stiff

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

        Float

        7.5

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

        Terrain

        Park
        Pow

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

        A blast to ride!

Needed a board that was heavily geared towards powder but versatile enough to ride full mountain in other conditions. This thing both charges and floats great in powder. Highly recommend.

        Thunder 156W

Fast delivery, the Thunder is alot torsionally stiffer than I was expecting, really aggressive riding is required on it, I have rode it twice, I won't be riding it again, too hard work. I have an older "Whatever" that I prefer, I hope Bataleon put an extra set of inserts the same as the Thunder in future models, when this happens I'll buy a new "Whatever" as it's a better all mountain performer for my needs. So is my Nitro Magnum.
        25yrd of riding experience.
Bataleon please put extra inserts in next yrs "Whatever" to make it ride powder even better,
        Regards
        Jase

        Hubby loves it

I gave this board to hubby as a holiday gift and he loves it. I have the Storm and he’s been wanting a similar board for a while. After a day of riding on groomers in CO, he said, “It’s better than my old board in every way. Especially fun in high speed and almost impossible to catch an edge!”

        Great board!

I’m 6’3”, 185 pounds, 11.5 boot. I went with the 162 wide and use the board primarily in the backcountry with my Drift boards but also in the resort. This board charges hard and excels all over the mountain. The 3bt works and helps the board float better than any traditionally shaped, full camber 162 I’ve ever ridden. Beautiful, fun board.
