      Float free.

Chucking spins in deep snow shouldn’t be this easy... should it? The Magic Carpet offers outrageous float in either direction thanks to a huge nose and tail featuring pronounced uplift. Mow down the sidecountry, butter it up on your favorite powder face or build yourself a cheese wedge and send it to the moon. This revolutionary 3D shape is so much fun you’ll feel like you’ve used a cheat code.

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

        Carbon Layup

Our three-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern.

Our very light 70-30 paulownia and poplar wood blend for an unparalleled strength to weight ratio.

        Special Sauce

Dual Super Tube. Hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

        Carbon Lay-ups

The type and placement of fiberglass greatly influences a board’s flex and riding characteristics. Boards are built with a layer of fiberglass above and below the woodcore.

        Base Tech

Not a basic extruded base. It has the highest molecular content available for an extruded base. That means it’s super slick, durable and maintenance-free.

Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.

SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

SuperTubes™ are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core in 3 different configurations. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

        Fun, but...

The Magic Carpet is a really cool board. Just the concept alone is bad ass. I had a lot of fun on it, and in just couple inches of snow it starts to really light up and take advantage of the matching spoon ends. Its so easy to spin on, and if you're trying to learn switch, this would be a good board to start on. I liked it in a bit of powder, but it has one critical flaw in my opinion. I'm assuming that Bataleon needs to use an extruded base because of the 3BT, but the base on my board is a dog no matter how much love I give it on the tuning table. I think this board could be next level with a nice sintered base, but I took it out on a day with 12" fresh and it just lagged, and bc it lagged it didn't float all that well. If Bataleon can give this thing some speed - I'll take another look. But for now... I see this thing more as a wall hanging and fuck around stick.

        Great Board

Floats well in the powder, and very easy to ride switch on, which I expected. I was surprised how well this board handles the bumps.

Really fun board with issues on the backend.

I purchased this board after riding my girlfriends wet noodle level of flex park board on a powder day and ended up having an absolute blast. I really am surprised at how much I love the shape of this board. The lighter flex makes for a super playful ride but isn't wet noodle level of soft. If you have good edge control and aren't afraid to lean your board over this is surprisingly a great carver. The 3bt really reduced the fatigue in my knees and I didn't have any transition period to get used to it.. Obviously this board is great in powder as that's its primary focus. I'm 5'7" and 155lbs and ride a 151 Magic Carpet. It had no problems in multiple feet of powder at Mt. Hood.

That being said, on the backend I was surprised and very disappointed to find my board is made in the UAE, rather than Europe. On top of that this is a very expensive board and has an EXTRUDED base which is an absolute joke for something at this price point especially with the cheap labor in the UAE.

        Amazing board

        Loved it

        Surfing on Snow!!!

This board is amazing! First things first this board is wider so I went smaller. I’m 6’1 190lbs and I bought a 154. This board can be used for anything: powder, park, groomers. Magic carpet is literally the perfect name for it.

I’ve rode arbor and more recently Burton Kilroy. This blows them out of the water. It really feels like surfing on snow. Ultra responsive, flex is crazy, you can carve like butter and float anywhere. It holds its edge no matter what. Glad I made the switch to bataleon!
