      Take it to the edge.

The carving renaissance continues; we wanted to design a directional arrow that offers lightning response and rail-like edge hold but which is fun to ride in everyday conditions long after you’ve rinsed the corduroy. Thanks to 3BT it can afford to be a little wider than your typical carve board – adding some useful float – while the narrow centerbase accelerates edge transitions and keeps drag to a minimum. Get low, feel your eyes water and your palms scrape.

        Characteristics

        Flex

        7
        Soft
        Stiff

Softer snowboards are easier to press and won’t kick your ass if you make a mistake. Stiffer decks are more stable at speed and super responsive edge-to-edge. Choose your poison.

        Float

        8.4

Maximum volume for surfy vibes in the pow, or a smaller surface area for nimble freestyle performance. This number is calculated with length, width, 3D shape and surface distribution.

        Terrain

        Park
        Groomers
        Pow

What’s this board’s natural home? Full send in the park? Elbows down on the trails? Or chucking roosters somewhere off grid?

        Materials

        Glassing

Our three-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern.

        Woodcore

Our 50-50 paulownia and poplar woods blend for optimal strength to weight properties.

        Special Sauce

Dual Radial Super Tube. Hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

        Carbon Lay-ups

The type and placement of fiberglass greatly influences a board’s flex and riding characteristics. Boards are built with a layer of fiberglass above and below the woodcore.

        Base Tech

Our standard sintered base that’s tough and fast, and faster when waxed.

        Features

Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.

SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

SuperTubes™ are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core in 3 different configurations. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.

        Super!

Love the board, stiff the right way, super fast, never carved as good!

Great for carving but the base gets damaged too easily.

5/5 for carving, great powder float and amazing turn initiation. Amazing to hit Eurocarves on this and really go low on turns. Great at high speeds. Hits all the boxes for what it is advertised to be but it has a base which scratches easily. I have a Salomon whose base doesn't have scratches like these despite me having ridden it more. Please make more durable bases.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I used the Carver first time this week in Zermatt / Switzerland. What a board! I am 48 years old and I felt 28 again :) Slopes were pretty empty so I could push a lot. I don’t know how fast I was going but for sure it was very very fast. Extremely stable and gives a great control. Congratulations for producing such a successful product.

        Handles like its on rails

Just took my new bataleon Carver to killington this weekend after they got 24 inches of fresh pow.

This board took a full day of runs to get my burton cartel binding and ride boots fully tuned. I settled on +21 and -9 degreew for the bindings.

This board handles like its on rails.
No chatter (it is a stiff board)
I felt surprisingly confident for the speed at which I was carving. And this is a fast board.

I ripped thru the park and hit a few jumps and it was stable, balanced and predictable.

This is a speed machine that begs you to carve. I left killington excited to head west and play with it in Colorado in a few weeks.

        I am 5 foot 6 inches and 175 lbs with a 9.5 boot.

This bataleon Carver is a fun board that I look forward to spending more time with.
