Does what it says on the box! Shreds everything! Best park board I’ve owned
I bought an 18/19 156W Boss a few years back. My first Bataleon board. Absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. I rode this board for 3-4 seasons and it still has a ton of life left. This thing charges, butters, and pops like a dream. Great for jibs.
On those deep snow days I was definitely fighting a little more to keep the board floating but still performed well. Just gotta stay going fast. If I could change one thing it would just be the width. I think that would help alot with the float without compromising the park nimbleness too much. Even after purchasing a Wide version my size 12-13 boots felt like they barely fit on the board. A little too much overhang for me over the highback of the bindings. With that being said this is a minimal gripe and I would still recommend/ love this board. Bataleon for life.
Just received a Boss 156W to replace a 20/21 Evil Twin 159W. It arrived after our snow season in New York had ended, so this review is solely based on looks and my experiences with my Evil Twin, which I loved. I will follow up next season, but the people at Bataleon were amazing helping me out with my warranty, and getting me hooked up with this beauty. The board shape is identical to the ET, but the Boss has a more aggressive camber profile, and is noticeably stiffer. Can't wait to shred it. Thanks again Bataleon!
just took this board out for a rip. very flexy compared to the jam I've been on for 3 seasons. pops to the moon, super playful, still carves real nice. makes me excited to be on a park board. bataleon makes the best snowboards!
Love my new board! Wasn’t sure if I made the right choice being new to the 3D tech and all but now it’s like my best choice ever!
I ride it all mountain mostly but does great in the park as well.
Love the speed and stability it gives.
Bataleon is my new fav!
