TwinPow 3BT™ + Sidekick™

Pow 3BT™ features a narrow centerbase and maximum uplift with SideKick™ in the nose. The emphasis in this shape is on floating. The oversized nose assures unrivaled float and stability in rough conditions. When it gets deep there is nothing that beats it. Make no mistake these boards hold there own on hardpack as well.

Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The lifted sidebase areas at the widest points of the board make a lot of sense. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.
SideKick™ dramatically increases the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.
SuperTubes™ are hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core in 3 different configurations. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.
We incorporated a flexible composite material into the woodcore along the 3BT™ crease points to dampen vibration at high speed and make your snowboard smoother in all conditions. Think of it as a top of the line suspension system for your snowboard.
Our three-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive. We use this to beef up the flex pattern.
Our lightest 80-20 Swiss paulownia and poplar wood blend for the lightest strength to weight ratio.
Dual Radial Super Tube. Hollow carbon core upgrades that are inserted into the core. The hollow carbon tubes greatly increase the woodcore’s pop and reduce weight.
The type and placement of fiberglass greatly influences a board’s flex and riding characteristics. Boards are built with a layer of fiberglass above and below the woodcore.
The fastest base money can buy. This base is produced with ISO-Sport 7000 black racing series and is what spandex-clad dudes have on their ski boards. No joke.
Definitely worth the money, the experience is unbelievable with this board, I’m 5’8, 185 pounds and this board feels stable on steep slopes and floats like a butterfly on pow.
This board is my new choice of weapon. The complete package - a working piece of art!
Bought this for a Heli trip in the Chugach and it ripped. Effortlessly threw waves of snow and super stable bombing steep runs and even dropping the occasional cliff/cornice. On down days at the resort, it was a pleasure ripping groomers, and switch riding is very doable, requiring only a little more effort than a regular twin. Spins easy on airs and was fun in the park, really does it all...but absolutely shines and outperforms anything I’ve ridden in deep powder. I LOVE this board...if you can save the dough, you’ll never regret getting this masterpiece. Well done Bataleon!
I have been on a Jam 159 for a few years now and absolutely love it! I picked up a Surfer LTD 159 (71/125) after having got caught a couple of times in mega POW and regretting not having something to use in the deep... Now I'm 5'9" and 225lbs and mostly a resort rider. So this was a big investment given that I'll only see a few real POW days a year here in eastern Canada and occasional trips down to New England. But I was totally astonished at how amazing the Surfer is! Not only does it do a great job in the deep pow, what really surprised me was how it's really an all mountain board! I find it a total dream to ride on groomers and really everything else it sees. It eats up terrain and honestly almost renders my Jam obsolete. Once you factor in the WOW factor and the looks and questions you get from everyone that sees it, for me it's a must have. Some say it's too expensive, and obviously it's not an inexpensive setup, but for me it's worth every penny! I'm totally in love. Thanks Bataleon for creating this masterpiece! I couldn't be happier with my Jam/Surfer tag team. I'm on day 27 this season and loving every minute! Don't hesitate to pick one up!
I purchased this board through the recommendation of a pro rider. Since owning the board I’ve ridden in two type of conditions from 10 cm of Pow to super hard packed ice and both times have been absolutely astonishing how good this board was to ride in either condition. I’m a total fan boy of Bataleon and can’t wait to purchase another board from them, keep up the insane work you guys are doing !!!
Oh I have the Party Wave plus too .... another board I have highly recommended to add to your quiver !
